J-B Faisy: One more custom of the Reflex R-style: If there is something complicated to make it is a good rear waterski binding. Each skier, according to his style and his morphology really need a custom system. Because of its modularity the R-style allows you to customize every details. Here, J-B has kept the original fitting but has largely cuted the tip of the shell to allow the foot to come forward very near of the heel of the front foot. Intermediate between an R-T-P and the unsafe hi-wrap rubber bindings the Reflex R-style has the advantages of both assemblies while providing safty for the release of rear foot in the same time of the front foot . For these reasons the R-style is increasingly used by high-level skiers.

Chaque skieur, en fonction de son style et de sa morphologie a vraiment besoin d'un système sur mesure. Le système R-Style de part sa modularité permet de customiser chaque détail. Ici JB a gardé la chausse à plat mais a largement découpé la partie avant de la coque afin de permettre au pied arrière de venir très prêt du pied avant. Intermédiaire entre une bride simple et une chausse montante la Reflex R-style a les avantages des deux montages tout en offrant la garantie de la libération du pied arrière en cas d'ouverture de la chausse avant. La R-style est de plus en plus utilisé par les skieurs de haut niveau.

This new carbon cleat will be necessary to upgrade your 404 Reflex shell to work with the new 500 Reflex release Mechanism.

After removing the old cleat you will need to rivet the new cleat by using the same 2 holes.

A third hole will be necessary to maintain the new cleat which is 9 mm (0.35 inch) higher than the old one.

New aluminium buckles:

These optional snow ski type buckles can easily replace the original buckles on your Reflex shell.
They allow a better tightening of the foot. It is also easier to use always the same tooth each time you ski.

A new option for 2010:

An EVA cap to cover the 404 and 500 release mechanisms to protect your rear leg from bruising. The mecanism still functions in the same way. A leash stops you from losing the cap whilst skiing.

Reflex 500.

We announce the arrival of a new shell release mechanism, the Reflex 500.

The Reflex 500 is similar to the yellow 404 but some points have been improved:

• Stiffer: The Mechanism is more vertical and higher .
• Stronger: There is no more welding.
• Shell rear cleat is now higher and bonded to the shell with 3 rivets. To use an old shell with the new Reflex 500 we will remove the old cleat and rivet the new one.
